De Persgroep is a media holding company that came into being as a result of the merger of three publishing companies (Aurex, De Morgen and Magnet Magazines) in November 2006. Since then, it has acquired a majority interest in various Belgian newspapers, journals and radio and television stations. De Persgroep is the publisher of Belgium’s most popular Flemish language paper, "Het Laatste Nieuws". It also recently launched a very successful and rapidly growing e-commerce website, “Markt.be”, which publishes materials relating to the sale and purchase of second-hand cars.
Belgium's largest publishing group "de Persgroep" decided in favor of dio:content as a central production and workflow solution.
In the first phase, some 600 workstations at the offices of daily newspapers (Laatste Nieuws, de Morgen, Het Parool, Mediafin) and magazines (Vacature, Magnet Magazines) will be equipped with the new dio:content asset management system. www.persgroep.be
