De Lloyd NV is using dio:content mainly in these three areas:

1. Incorporation into the K4 workflow

The use of dio:content involves transferring images stored in dio:content to the K4 editing workflow via dio:content Rich Client.

2. Archiving of the copy and artwork files

After producing the copy or artwork, the elements for printing are transferred back from K4 to dio:content and archived there. During import, whole pages, articles, advertisements and artwork are stored in the special dio:content archives and metadata is transferred from K4 to dio:content. The link between whole pages and their individual elements remains intact.

3. Research using the entire archive

Archived print media and other legacy data are available internally for research purposes and externally for syndication for subscribing customers. Search templates designed specifically to suit the existing metadata are provided for research work. www.lloyd.be
